He trained at the Schauspielschule Berlin with Else Bongers and graduated in 1987, followed by his first engagement. From 1997 to 2007 he was the face of Deutsche Telekom as T. Neumann. Since 2022 he has appeared in “Jedermann”, first alternating as Death, the Thin Cousin, the Devil, the Announcer and the Poor Neighbour, and since 2026 permanently as the Thin Cousin. In his book “Markus, mach mal!” he tells how he retrained as an alarm and security technician during the pandemic. He is an ambassador of the German Children's Fund, supports the Bad Salzungen Hospice Centre and passes on his experience as an acting teacher. Markus Majowski lives in Berlin.
