Principles
We process personal data only to the extent necessary to operate this website, present our content and answer enquiries. This website uses no analytics or tracking services, no advertising cookies and no social media plug-ins. The website sets a cookie only after you log in to the press area. In your browser's local storage the website only saves whether you have hidden the Markus guide, which version of the guide is shown and whether you have confirmed the privacy notice. This information does not leave your device and serves only to make the site work. The legal basis is Section 25 (2) No. 2 TDDDG. Fonts and images are loaded from our own server.
Hosting
This website is hosted by united-domains GmbH, Gautinger Straße 10, 82319 Starnberg, Germany. The provider processes the data generated when the site is accessed on our behalf, on the basis of a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
Server log files
When you visit this website, the server automatically stores information transmitted by your browser. This includes the IP address, date and time of access, the page requested, the amount of data transferred, browser type and operating system, and the previously visited page. This data is used for the technical provision and security of the website. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The log files are deleted after 14 days at the latest.
Contact form
If you write to us using the contact form, we process your name, your email address, your message and, if provided, your phone number. We use this data solely to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR if your enquiry relates to a contract, for example a booking, and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR in all other cases. The form is sent by a script on our own web server at united-domains GmbH. We delete your details as soon as the enquiry has been dealt with and no statutory retention obligations apply.
Press area
Editors and organisers can request access to the protected press area using a form on the press page. In doing so we process the name, editorial office or medium, email address and the stated purpose of use in order to check the request and send the access details. The same rules apply as for the contact form. After you log in to the press area, the server sets a technically necessary session cookie named “mmpresse”. It only stores the fact that you are logged in and is deleted when you close the browser or log out. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR in conjunction with Section 25 (2) No. 2 TDDDG (German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act).
Contact by email or phone
If you contact us by email or phone, we process the data you provide in order to deal with your request. The same legal bases and deletion periods apply as for the contact form.
Links to other websites
This website contains links to third-party services such as YouTube, FilmMakers, Facebook, publishers and theatres. When you click on them, you leave our website. The respective provider is responsible for data processing on those sites. Videos from YouTube and other platforms are linked and are not embedded on this website. The videos played directly on this website are stored on our own web server.
SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” in your browser's address bar.
Your rights
You have the right of access to your stored data under Art. 15 GDPR, to rectification under Art. 16 GDPR, to erasure under Art. 17 GDPR, to restriction of processing under Art. 18 GDPR and to data portability under Art. 20 GDPR. Where we process data on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, you may object at any time under Art. 21 GDPR. An informal message to majowski-flourish@t-online.de is sufficient.
